Ananda Reddy, Ph.D., graduated from the Sri Aurobindo International Center Of Education, Pondicherry and completed his doctoral studies at Madras University. He is presently the founder-director of Sri Aurobindo Centre for Advanced Research (SACAR) and President of the University of Tomorrow, Pondicherry.

Ananda Reddy addressed a letter to the Managing Trustee of Sri Aurobindo Ashram on 6 September, 2008. A significant feature of this letter is the cultural issues it raises.
